Admission & Academic Information

Admission Terms & Conditions

The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.

  • The maximum age limit for admission shall be 35 years.

  • Eligibility: Candidates who have cleared Common Entrance Examination of B.Sc. Nursing by the state are eligible to apply.

  • Candidate shall be Medically fit.

  • Students shall be admitted once in a year.

  • Selection of candidates as per MNC Norms.

Candidates are expected to produce the following documents in original at the time of admission:

  • H.S.L.C. mark list.

  • Plus 2 marksheet.

  • 4 Passport size photographs.

  • Provisional, Transfer & Character certificates.

  • Course and Conduct Certificate issued by the Head of Educational Institution last attended.

  • Passing certificate/ mark-sheet of common B.SC. Entrance examination conducted by Manipur Nursing Council.

  • Break Certificate.

  • Medical fitness Certificate.

  • Aadhaar card & PAN card.

Tours and Excursions

Students will be sent on tours and excursion with our staff in places related to their curriculum.

Sports and Games

Sound mind and physical fitness are two important ingredients of any educational system. Sports and games play a vital role in the health of individuals. Keeping this in view, adequate sports and games facilities will be provided to the students.

Identity Card

Identity cards issued by the Institute are mandatory for all students. He or she must keep it with them at all times when traveling within or outside of the college boundaries.

Transportation

College bus is provided for the conveyance of students from the hostel to the college and back and for observation visits & clinical trainings conducted by the institution as part of the curriculum.

Academic Information

Course Overview

The B.Sc. Nursing is a Baccalaureate Degree Program of 8 (eight) semesters, leading to the award of Degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Medium of instruction is in English. Students are expected to have proficiency in English language, verbal as well as written.

Assessment & Exams

Internal Assessment score are given through sessional exams, case presentations, assignments, projects, clinical evaluation, and internal practical examination. External Assessment includes both theory and practical exams at the end of each semester. Securing 50% marks for the internal assessment is mandatory for appearing the University examination.

Attendance Requirements

Candidates must secure 80% attendance in theory and practical in each subject in order to appear for the University examination. 100% attendance in clinical practice must be acquired before the award of the degree as per Indian Nursing Council/University guidelines.

Dress Code & Grooming

Summer uniform includes a White Apron, Off White Shirt, Dark Olive Green Trouser & Phanek. Winter includes the addition of a Dark Olive Green Sweater. Identity cards issued by the Institute are mandatory for all students at all times.

Rules & Regulations

Mobile phones are not permitted in the classroom, clinical setting (including during shift work), community, or on any other educational visit. Students should practice good personal hygiene, keep nails short, refrain from nail polish, and avoid wearing jewellery.

Health & Facilities

Each student will undergo an annual medical check-up and be immunized against infectious diseases as necessary. A College bus is provided for the conveyance of students from the hostel to the college and for clinical trainings.

Terms for Discontinuation

  • Students who wish to discontinue the course must submit a written request letter to the administration. A minimum notice period of 7–15 days may be required before discontinuation
  • The institution reserves the right to suspend or terminate enrollment if fees are overdue or installment payments are not honored.
  • Enrollment may be terminated without refund in cases of violation of code of conduct, academic dishonesty, or disruptive behaviour.
  • Students who discontinue before completion will not be eligible for course completion certificates.
  • Caution deposit will be refunded only after successful completion of course.

  • The hostel and mess fee is collected on a quarterly basis. It is compulsory for all the students.
  • Tuition fees for college should be paid in semesters. The cost of college may be paid in instalments.
